Fall into Memory: Virtual Writing Workshop
Saturday, October 17, 2026 from 10 am to noon via Zoom
$20 Members, $30 Non-Members
Have you been wanting to write but finding excuses not to? Are there memories you want to write or (family) stories you want to record but don’t know where to begin or to begin again? Don’t over think it; join us for one or more of these fun, constructive workshops that will inspire you with excerpts and writing prompts and will leave you with concrete suggestions to get you closer to the truth of your own stories.
Sept. 12 and Oct. 17 are Generative—you’ll write new material—and Nov. 21 is Revision—you’ll get feedback on something you’ve already written.
No experience necessary: just notebook, pen, and a desire to record—or reimagine—the past, distant or recent.

What Participants Have to Say:
  • “The [short] readings were spot-on, serving as entry ways into lively discussions but also inspiring our own original writing. Brava!”
  • “I just loved the opportunity to read, write, and, if I wanted to, share. These workshops brought back memories that were tucked into the recess of my mind and deepened my interest in reflecting and writing about my culture.”
  • “I’ll take these workshops again and again. So lovely to meet so many nice, new people.  Excellent, skilled, and inspiring instructor.”
