About the author: Patricia Dunn wrote a young adult novel, Rebels by Accident , and her writing has appeared in The New York Times, Salon, The Village Voice, The Nation, LA Weekly, and The Christian Science Monitor. Dunn served as senior director of the Writing Institute at Sarah Lawrence College, where she holds an MFA in creative writing. She is co-founder of The Joe Papaleo Writers Workshop in Cetera, Italy.
