OUR MISSION

The Italian Cultural Foundation at Casa Belvedere is a not-for-profit arts and cultural organization founded in 2009 to celebrate, promote and teach all things Italian via a myriad of exceptional programs open to the public: Language and Cooking classes; Art and Photo exhibits; Film and Music festivals; Opera and Film Screenings; Italian Festival and Luxury Car Show; live concerts and theatrical performances; Community Gardening program; Guest Chef experiences; Bocce playing; lectures, presentations and more. Also, integral to our mission is to restore, resuscitate and revitalize the foundation-owned historic building that had been abandoned and deteriorating for years. Built by the Roebling-Stirn family in 1908, this Italianate-style, neo-Renaissance building is one of the few remaining of its kind in all of New York City. Today, the Stirn Mansion turned Casa Belvedere is a NYC landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
