Hand Stitching Workshop
Four Mondays, Sept. 15 through Oct. 6
5:30 to 6:45 pm in Bacco Lounge
Admission/Donation: $135 members, $155 non-members
Come to Casa Belvedere for a special class to learn Hand Stitching, a basic skill set that many people should have but most do not. In the past, hand stitching was typically taught by elders or in home economics classes. Today, this invaluable skill is rarely taught and is not difficult to learn.
By the end of workshop sessions, you will be able to thread a needle and tie a knot; do the running stitch, the back stitch and the invisible stitch; sew on buttons; and make a hem.
