Description

Kim Leo-Wisniewski is a chef, educator, and community advocate with decades of experience in the restaurant industry. After successfully owning and operating her own establishments, she transitioned her focus to teaching, becoming a State-approved Culinary Instructor dedicated to working with both typical and neurodiverse students. Through partnerships with organizations like The Grace Foundation, On Your Mark, and Crimson Rise, she empowers individuals through cooking, building confidence and essential life skills.

She is also the owner of Kitchen by Kim Cooks, a thriving catering business known for signature dishes like her fried calamari and shrimp, candy skirt steak, and chicken parm. Deeply committed to giving back, Chef Kim actively supports community initiatives and charitable organizations, using food as a tool for connection, empowerment, and positive change.

Please note that Casa Belvedere’s cooking class prices have increased due to the rising cost of food supplies.

Children’s cooking classes are for ages 6 to 14 and run for one hour, from 4 to 5 pm. Adult classes are two hours, from 7 to 9 pm. All classes are taught by Kim Leo, an experienced chef with a vibrant personality who makes everyone feel comfortable in the kitchen. Wine is sold by the glass during adult cooking lessons.
You can be added to a wait list for any sold-out cooking classes, OR you can organize a private class. Gather 6 to 10 of your friends for a special cooking session with Chef Kim! Call for details: 718-273-7660
