Join us for a dynamic hybrid experience featuring a lecture, live demonstration, and interactive workshop exploring the age-old traditions of Southern Italian dance. This immersive program invites participants to discover the origins, symbolism, and cultural significance of these powerful movement practices that have been passed down through generations.
Guests are encouraged to wear a flowing skirt and comfortable shoes as we step into the rhythms of tarantella and pizzica—highlighting Italian culture as a living, evolving expression. Through discussion, movement, and visual storytelling, participants will gain a deeper appreciation for the ritual, healing, the communal aspects of Italian folk dance and how it evolving today.

The workshop is led by Danielle Marie Fusco, a renowned performing artist, choreographer, educator, and healer with over 20 years of experience. Drawing from her Southern Italian lineage, she specializes in regional Italian dance forms, particularly tarantella.
