Eligibility Requirements
Scholarship applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be of Italian American origin, 25 percent or more.
- Must be a high school senior accepted as a full-time student into an accredited college or university for Fall 2023.
- Must hold a 3.5 or higher overall GPA (per official transcript).
- Must be a blood relative of a Casa Belvedere member in good standing.
To be eligible for an annual $2,500 renewal award, recipient must continue to be enrolled as a full-time student at his/her college or university, and must maintain a minimum 3.5 GPA.
Criteria to be used by the ICF Scholarship Committee in choosing the recipients of the 2023 Scholarship Awards are set forth in the Application herein.
Application, essays and supporting documents (recommendations, transcript etc.) are due by Friday, April 30, 2023 11:59 pm EST. The Scholarship Committee will review all applications and announce scholarship recipients by May 31, 2023. Recipients will be notified by phone call, followed by an official letter in the mail.
Award Ceremony:The recipients of the ICF Scholarshipand the Vito and Rosalia Biancardi Memorial Scholarship will be required to attend an award ceremony to be held at Casa Belvedere in June, on a date to be announced.
