The Brindisi (Italian for “a toast”) is a song in which people are enthusiastically invited to drink and has been included in many operatic scenes. This presentation will feature the creative genius of various composers revealing the masterful way in which they portray the lyric and sometimes very dramatic effect of their characters’ inebriation. Join us to prepare for the upcoming holidays with some Operatic Drinking!
