About the book
Sara Marsala’s life is in shambles after the collapse of her business and marriage, compounded by the death of her beloved great-aunt Rosie. However, Rosie’s passing offers an unexpected escape: a plane ticket to Sicily, a deed to valuable land, and a family secret that could change everything.
Rosie suspects Sara’s great-grandmother Serafina, believed to have died of illness, was murdered. As Sara unravels the mystery, she uncovers Serafina’s courageous fight for a better life in early 1900s Sicily, all while realizing she’s up against the same dangerous forces that threatened her ancestor. The Sicilian Inheritance is a gripping, multigenerational mystery celebrating the bravery of women.
