Cinema Sotto Le Stelle : Cabrini (2024)
Tuesday, July 14 from 7:00 to 11:00 PM
Free for members, $10 donation for non-members
Join us for a special community screening of Mother Cabrini (2024), a powerful film celebrating the extraordinary life, courage, and compassion of Frances Xavier Cabrini, the Italian immigrant who dedicated her life to serving those in need and became the first U.S. citizen to be canonized a saint. Set against the backdrop of the immigrant experience in America, this inspiring story highlights themes of perseverance, faith, community, and the lasting impact one person can have on generations to come.
In conjunction with this extraordinary story of compassion, service, and community, we invite guests to extend the spirit of Mother Cabrini beyond the screen by participating in our food drive benefiting St. Adalbert-St. Roch Food Pantry. Guests are encouraged to bring non-perishable food and personal hygiene product donations to help support local families in need and honor the values of generosity and care that defined Mother Cabrini’s life and legacy. Together, we can celebrate her story while continuing her mission of helping and uplifting others within our own community.
Enjoy classic movie-night favorites and refreshments from our concession stand, available throughout the evening to enhance your Cinema Sotto Le Stelle experience. Should inclement weather arise, the program will be moved indoors.
