“The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” (Il buono, il brutto, il cattivo, literally “The good, the ugly, the bad”) is a 1966 Italian spaghetti Western film directed by Sergio Leone and starring Clint Eastwood as “the Good,” Lee Van Cleef as “the Bad” and Eli Wallach as “the Ugly.” Parts of the movie were filmed in Italy.
The movie is elevated by the iconic score of Italian composer Ennio Morricone. Discover how Morricone’s unforgettable music, including the legendary main theme, has become synonymous with the genre and remains one of the most influential film scores in cinematic history.
