11/22 Tuesday 7:00 pm • VIRTUAL • Venetian Festivals: Not Just Carnevale

A virtual program presented by Anita Sanseverino
Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 7 pm

The Venetian Carnevale is the most well-known festival in Venice, but there are other festas even closer to the hearts of Venetians. It used to be said that La Serenissima had more feasts than any place in Italy!

Nowadays, Carnevale is mostly for tourists, but other events are celebrated mainly by Venetians. Please join Anita Sanseverino in discovering special traditions that are steeped in history and celebrated with that special Venetian flair! Anita’s presentation will be accompanied by her photographs from these beautiful events.
