Spend an evening with Giovanna aka Joanne Gambino, head chef, owner and operator of Giovanna’s in Freehold, NJ; the chef for ‘Sicilian Nights’ at Angelina restaurant; and featured chef on the show “Unique Eats” when she cooked for Enoteca Maria. Giovanna will share her delicious tried-and-true short cuts to preparing sauce; guests will enjoy samples!
About the chef:
Giovanna Gambino is very proud of where she came from and the recipes she was exposed to, and she is excited to share them with everyone. She finds the most relaxation in life cooking traditional family recipes and giving them her own twist.
Her passion for cooking has brought her down many different paths throughout her life. Giovanna was born and raised in a small town called Passo Di Rigano, minutes away from Palermo, Sicily. Her most cherished memories growing up were when her entire extended family would have picnics under the olive trees in her town.
