Description

Carmen De Vito is a professional garden designer and Certified New York State Landscape professional. Garden Cult is a culmination of her over two decades of experience designing and building gardens in New York City.
She has worked on some of the most challenging outdoor spaces and created hundreds of beautiful, practical, and eco-friendly greenspaces on rooftops, in backyards as well as in large suburban gardens and estates. Carmen has also shared her love of design and garden expertise as former garden coordinator for Nonno’s Garden at Casa Belvedere.
Carmen believes in using gardens and outdoor spaces for the greater good and that gardens and outdoor spaces should be healthy, environmentally sustainable environments that enhance the health of people, nature, and the planet.
She comes from a long line of gardeners many generations back in her native Italy and is the second generation to put roots down in U.S. soil. Her natural affinity is coupled with Design and Horticulture training at the New York Botanical Garden. View some of her work here: www.gardencult.com
