DESCRIPTION:FITNESS AT CASA BELVEDERE\nMondays 9/25\, 10/2\, 10/9\, 10/16\, 10/23\, 10/30 & 11/6 at 6:30-7:30pm\nAge 14 and up \nYoga will be held on the back patio with its incredible view! \nYOGA with Toni Freda –Italians are fond of using a Latin proverb – Mens sana in corpore sano – a healthy mind in a healthy body\, which clearly describes what yoga can achieve. Yoga combines physical\, mental\, and spiritual wellness with breathing exercises\, meditation\, and physical poses.  \nRoll out your mat and enjoy the view! This program is open to adults at all levels of practice. The class will focus on basic foundational yoga postures to help align\, strengthen\, and promote flexibility in the body. Breathing techniques are also integrated. There will be an emphasis on simplicity\, repetition\, and ease of movement.   \nMat class: Please bring water\, a mat\, blocks\, and any other yoga props.  \nPrior registration is strongly encouraged. Although drop-ins are welcome to pay at the door\, the class may be canceled if we do not have enough registered participants.

DESCRIPTION:Intermediate Crochet Class at Casa Belvedere\n8-week programs Mondays\, Oct. 23 through Dec. 18 (no class Monday\, Nov. 13)\nIntermediate class 6:30 to 8 pm \nSo you have discovered that crocheting is an awesome hobby! It is gratifying\, with its quick-to-make projects\, and it is incredibly portable! It’s perfect for always having a project on the go. \nCrochet Ability: To be successful in this Intermediate class\, you will need to be proficient with the following crochet stitches: chain stitch\, slip stitch\, single crochet\, and double crochet. Please know that we will challenge ourselves and learn front and back post stitches and treble crochet as well. \nMaterial needed: Materials will be determined by you. If you need a suggestion\, use Lion Brand Pound of Love; other brands are Red Heart Super Saver\, Caron One Pound\, Caron Simply Soft or Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice. The amounts will depend on what you want to make. A hook is needed; most of these yarns require a (J) hook. Sometimes we crochet loose or tight\, so bring one needle larger (K) for tight crocheters and one needle small for loose workers (I). The instructor will supply a pattern for the first class. \nMaterials required: Yarn; I\, J\, K crochet hooks; regular scissors or embroidery scissors; and plastic/steel sewing needle for weaving in ends. \nREGISTER NOW
