Writing about Home: Virtual Writing Workshops with author Maria Giura
Generative workshop: Saturday, Dec. 2, 10 am to noon
Revision workshop: Saturday, Jan. 6, 2024, 10 am to noon
No experience necessary: just a notebook, pen and desire to record the past!
Maya Angelou said, “The ache for home lives in all of us.” Join us for this fun, supportive workshop led by author Maria Giura that will give you the opportunity to reflect and write about what home means to you: whether it’s a house, a country, a loved one, a favorite meal or a state of mind. Participants will read short, vibrant excerpts by published authors on the subject and then will be given prompts to write their own original piece.
Those who would like to review and refine their original piece are encouraged to register for the Revision Workshop on Jan. 6. 2024.
